This guide lists every item in the game and describes its usage. No matter what Familiarity does, you will see increased value for finding and using items when you find them. That might be as simple as improving the speed at which a healing item works to reducing its cost. High Familiarity changes an item's effect permanently, and always increases the benefits an item offers in some way.
